Newcastle Golf Club

By Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

The Golf Club at Newcastle is one of my favorite places to photograph a wedding.  This is good, since it is one of the most populare locations for a wedding in the Seattle area.  Newcastle sits high atop a hill just south of Bellevue with amazing views of Lake Washington and Seattle.

For this portrait, I used a flash on the couple to be able to give the dark blue sky in the background

Bellevue Club

by Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

The Bellevue Club is a beautiful, elegant venue.

The bride and groom with their “classic” truck in front of the beautiful Bellevue Club.

The couple in the vine-covered columns.

Taken on the grounds near the restaurant.

Making their grand entrance

The very cool ceiling and chandeliers lend a very upscale, but artistic feel to the reception space.

The cake topper was 50 years old and used at the Bride’s grandmother’s (right) wedding.

First dance.

Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island

by Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island has beautiful views, docks on the water and some cool old brick buildings.  I don’t know if they have weddings, but it’s a great spot to stop for some portraits.

Mercer Island Presbyterian Church

by Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

The Mercer Island Presbyterian Church was quite nice.  Beautiful sweeping white ceilings that reminded me of a sail on a boat and very nice gardens in the back.  As a note, it is not possible to be married at MIPC unless you are a member of the church!

The front entryway.

The ladies getting ready in the bathroom.

Seeing each other for the first time in the garden.

A portrait inside.  Very light and bright.

The guys messing around on the play equipment.

All the guys jumping.  I love the way some of the guys made this look cool and others…not so much!

The groom’s truck was a bit of a joke.  Both the bride and groom are lawyers, but they wanted to get away in his first car.  The valet’s were unable to move it to the parking garage at the reception!

Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland

by Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

The Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland sits right on Lake Washington and has beautiful views. It has a tent right next to the lake where they have the weddings, making for beautiful summer evening weddings with the sides open and beautiful view during dinner.

This is one of the lakeside conference rooms that was provided for the guys to get ready in.

This image of the guys shows the shoreline, the marina and the hotel in the background. The best man only got mildly damp.

I just liked this one.

The dress hanging in the hotel room.

The tent and the views of the lake for the guests.

The bride on the dock.

Just inside the tent area are the ballrooms, the bar and this beautiful staircase to the lobby.

You can see the bride and a bridesmaid on the deck of the lakeview room.

Another view of the wedding area inside the tent.

I loved this boat that went by. Gorgeous.

Some night portraits after the ceremony.

Looking back at the hotel and Carilon Point.

The tent at dinner time.

Dad giving a toast.

The scene taken in near complete darkness.
