Waverly Country Club in Portland, Oregon

By Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

Waverly Country Club is a beautiful place right on the Willamette River just minutes from downtown Portland, which is one of my favorite cities.

The front facing of the golf course and country club at Waverly.

Loves Me Flowers

By Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

I’ve been thinking for quite some time that I wanted to start featuring vendors that I have worked with and that my clients have been pleased with. I just sent out a survey to my clients and got back quite a few vendor referrals for them. As luck would have it, Kendra from Loves Me Flowers was on the list, and she contacted me this week for some images for her portfolio and website. This coincidence leads to the first vendor feature on the Cory Parris Photography and Seattle Weddings Online blogs. And without further ado, hear are some images of the work that Loves Me Flowers has done for a couple of my past clients.

The first set are from Elyssa and Caleb’s wedding in December 2007 at Willow’s Lodge.

The second set is from summer 2008 at the Tyee Yacht Club, or sometimes called the Yacht Club at Lake Union.

The summer flower bouquet is from Billy and Sandy's wedding this last summer.

Bellevue Club

by Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

The Bellevue Club is a beautiful, elegant venue.

The bride and groom with their “classic” truck in front of the beautiful Bellevue Club.

The couple in the vine-covered columns.

Taken on the grounds near the restaurant.

Making their grand entrance

The very cool ceiling and chandeliers lend a very upscale, but artistic feel to the reception space.

The cake topper was 50 years old and used at the Bride’s grandmother’s (right) wedding.

Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island

by Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island has beautiful views, docks on the water and some cool old brick buildings.  I don’t know if they have weddings, but it’s a great spot to stop for some portraits.

Mercer Island Presbyterian Church

by Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

The Mercer Island Presbyterian Church was quite nice.  Beautiful sweeping white ceilings that reminded me of a sail on a boat and very nice gardens in the back.  As a note, it is not possible to be married at MIPC unless you are a member of the church!

The front entryway.

The ladies getting ready in the bathroom.

Seeing each other for the first time in the garden.

A portrait inside.  Very light and bright.

The guys messing around on the play equipment.

All the guys jumping.  I love the way some of the guys made this look cool and others…not so much!

The groom’s truck was a bit of a joke.  Both the bride and groom are lawyers, but they wanted to get away in his first car.  The valet’s were unable to move it to the parking garage at the reception!
