Bastyr University Chapel

Bastyr University was at one time a Catholic Seminary school.  The chapel is a beautiful holdover.  Here is some photography by Seattle Wedding Photographer Cory Parris

The exterior view.

Looking at the rest of the campus from the courtyard.

A detail of the  wood paneling inside.

Another gratuitous shoe photo.

The dressing areas are a little plain, but it’s still fun.

The grand and gilded chapel is one of the most impressive in all of the Seattle area.

A formal portrait using the altar as a backdrop.

Puppy love in the chapel!

The center aisle is quite wide and long so some sort of aisle decoration is common.

With the bride walking up the aisle, you can see both the huge dimensions and the unusual seating arrangements.

Congratulations for your marriage. however i am catholic and i as a catholic need to defend my faith not because I have to but because i know it is right.
I am against you people sending the Dog inside the church.
I cannot believe that such a sacrilege was made. dogs are not human they are important but not human they are just animals. It is very extremely rude for us Latin rite Catholics to be insulted in such a manner.
I understand that you wanted to marry but it was not the right way to do it with a Dog inside of it, this is not right!

The Catholic Church deconsecrated the chapel years ago, Check the Bastyr website if you must to confirm. I'm pretty sure St.Francis of Assisi was Catholic and he loved animals. I don't know this couple, just looking at this as a wedding venue for my daughter, but "anonymous" you sound like what my kds refer to as a "creeper".
